As everyone who collects celebrity memorabilia knows, there are lot's of cheap fakes out there, especially on eBay. Everything in my collection is authentic and is accompanied by some sort of provenance. I think that's what makes my collection even more exciting.
These items are not officially for sale yet, but I'm getting ready to sell them. I've reached the point where I'd like to slim down "Buddha style" and pass these amazing items to other fans to enjoy.
If you are interested in any of the items below, I'm forming an interest list. Please send me an email (Mike@EvolveArts.com), with the item and the price range you feel is fair for the item. Other collectors from the official Madonna fan club (Icon) have given me helpful advice on the price range for each item, so I've put that in parentheses as a general guide. I might put the items up on eBay, but would prefer to conduct private transactions via PayPal and possibly an escrow service for the more valuable items. I'm located in San Francisco.
1) Madonna's stage worn "Pimp" hat, caught at one of the New York Drowned World concerts. Hand signed on the inside brim! (ballpark: $1,300)
Provenance for the hat will include:
2) Madonna's stage worn "Kabbalists Do It Better" shirt, caught at one of the Los Angeles Re-invention Tour concerts. VERY small size, Madonna is tiny! :-) (ballpark: $1,100)
Provenance for the shirt will include:
3) Madonna's 1992 Holiday Card Hand Signed Photo "All the best! Madonna". This can be either shipped in the frame or out. Unfortunately, there is a bit of water damage to the photo. Some water got in between the glass and the photo (via steam) and so the photo is a bit warped and there is one small place where the ink rubbed off a bit. You might be able to see it in the photo where the "M" start in her signature. Otherwise, this is a fantastic specimen. (ballpark: $200)
4) Two hand signed Madonna photos bought at a Sotheby's auction in a beautiful frame (ballpark: $400)
Provenance for the photos will include:
5) Hand signed Madonna drum head says "Why? Love, Madonna". Not sure the reason she writes "Why?". There must be an interesting story there. (ballpark: $200)
Provenance for the drum head will include:
6) Hand signed Donna DeLory hat from Drowned World concert in San Jose. The inside of the hat is inscribed by Donna and says, "Whoever finds this hat will have love forever. Donna Delory" (ballpark: $300)
7) Hand signed Madonna Photo. I bought this off eBay from one of the most reputable dealers out there. I only bought it for $75 so that's what I'm listing it for. (ballpark: $75)
